With Firefox 3, you can set a configuration to allow a better quality image (color, etc.) to be show instead of a 'web normalized' image. There might be some performance hits when looking at web pages as their default colors might be a bit off, but it sure makes Facebook pictures look a lot better (in my opinion). Check it out here.
